The 2017 Acura ILX is available from April 2016 with base price that starts from $27,990. This luxury sedan comes with enhanced features that was presented last year with 2016 year model. Refreshed model comes with Jewel Eye LED headlights, 2.4-liter engine and AcuraWatch safety suite available with all ILX models. There are 6 exterior colors available while three colors are new for 2017 ILX. The Buick Verano, Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA250 are the main competitors of the new Acura ILX 2017 in its class.
2017 Acura ILX redesign
The look of the new Acura ILX 2017 will be almost the same as its predecessor. This decision is logic if we consider that 2016 year model was completely revamped last year. It will come with Jewel Eye LED headlights with auto on/off function and rear fascia will with be equipped with combined LED taillights. Standard wheels will be 17-inch alloy while ILX with A-SPECS package will include 18-inch 10-spoke machined-face alloy wheels for noise reduction. Higher trim levels include fogligths, deck lid spoiler and aluminum accelerator and brake pedals.

The new ILX is available in three trim levels: base ILX, ILX with Premium package and ILX with Tech Plus Package, while Premium and Tech Plus trims are available with additional A-SPECS Package that adds larger wheels, trunk spoiler, sporty side sill garnishes, front Foglights and some interior features. There are six 2017 Acura ILX exterior colors available: Bellanova White Pearl, Catalina Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and San Marino Red.
With last year model interior got big upgrades. Standard for all models is leather upholstery with dual-zone climate control. Instrument panel is equipped with 5-inch full-color information display. There are also Keyless Access System, heated front seats with 8-way powered driver’s seat, audio system with 6-speaker audio system, powered moonroof and a multi-view rear camera. Standard feature for all models is AcuraWatch safety suite that combines grille-mounted radar with windshield camera in order to determine speed and position of other traffic participants. This safety system incorporates Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist System and the Collision Mitigation Braking System with optional Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning. Beside AcuraWatch, there are also Blind spot information, Cross Traffic Monitor and Vehicle Stability Assist with a Motion Adaptive Electric Power Steering system.

Under the hood of the new Acura ILX 2017 is only one engine available and it is a carryover from previous model. ILX is propelled by a 2.4-liter powerplant with 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Paired with 8-speed automatic dual clutch transmission with Paddle Shifters power from engine is transferred to front wheels.
