2017 Cadillac CTS V Coupe, price, sedan, review

The 2017 Cadillac CTS is one of the very luxurious yet stylish sedan cars. With last model year the CTS lineup has received new powertrain options, and there are no great chances that the new CTS will come with new powertrain. That means that this midsize luxury sedan will come with slightly changes on its design and it could get some new features and changes in available equipment. It will be available as “regular” CTS Sedan and sporty version – CTS-V. When it comes to market the new Cadillac CTS 2017 will have a decent competition: Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS, Audi A6, Infiniti Q70 and Jaguar XF.

2017 Cadillac CTS review

EXTERIOR

The new CTS will probably receive some changes on its exterior as well as interior. However, we don’t expect some great changes because it was completely refreshed with its predecessor. We expect that the entire lineup will receive updates in colors and redesigned front fascia. It will feature vertical lighting elements – LED signature lights that can be used as the daytime running lights. Halogen projector-beam headlights are standard for all models while there are available HID (high-intensity discharge) headlights which also includes Adaptive Froward Lighting.

Standard wheels on all models will be 18-inch alloy with bigger 19-inch available with higher trim levels. Chrome grille will be noticeable on front fascia while CTS-V models will receive black chrome finish on its V-Sport grille. For better fuel efficiency there are active shutters grille which will be available with all models but not with V-sport model with Driver Assist package. In order to improve luxury look there are illuminating door handles and Galvano aluminum trim around the side windows.
